DragonJools - Passion in Glass

Some people are born to teach. It sounds immodest, I know, but time and time again, students tell me that I'm a very good teacher, patient, kind, and confidence-building. I must be doing something right!

Can you teach yourself to make your own beads? Sure you can — I did. You can take a year and burn a lot of glass — or you can take a class with me and save a lot of glass, time, energy and money!

Introduction to Lampworking

Intro classes once a month or more

The 4-hour intro class is perfect for the beginner, the glass-lover, the bead-lover, the jewelry-maker that wants to make their own beads. Maybe you're thinking of a new hobby?

This is an excellent intro, a low-commitment way to dip your toes in the water.

Intro classes can also be custom-scheduled for private groups of 2 or more.

Private Classes/ One on One Tutorials

Trouble shooting, problem solving, specific techniques.

Struggling with getting beads round? Battling with encasing? Baffled by reduction frit? How about silver foil, dichro, cubic zirconias, hollows, bead presses, marbles, sculptural beads, and yes — even my "signature" wave bead. If you want some one-on-one coaching, we can do that. Two to four hour classes can be booked at your convenience.
